My name is Bryn Ferris and I just finished my second year at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). I set up this blog because I'm spending this summer working abroad with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) in Ghana! - So I am finally settled in at work and ready to go...

Hey!
Just wanted to let you know that I am home safe and sound. It is odd to have American football and soccer and baseball and basketball here as for so long our sports life revolved around watching the world cup. You are so right though, all of Africa was behind Ghana. Glad to be caught up in my reading of your journal - best wishes.

I saw that goal!!! I ran into the TV room during my YAP thing (I'll call you later to explain) and it was sooo offside!! ok... maybe not by much but it was off side!! there was this exchange student that was going to UdM beside me, lol it was funny we were both annoyed.
What about a pseudo-Ghanian?

ain't it awesome how a sport can bring the whole world together regardless of anyone's race or income or social status. everyone is glued to the television screen or checking updates on the internet. even countries without participating teams are celebrating like here in canada. it's a beautiful thing to see. glad to read ur having a great time cuz. savor every second.
